I have been thinking for some time that I might change the title of this blog, because it almost insues that this is merely a source for guides, and that isn’t all I really want to write about.

No, no. /Soothe, it’s ok. This blog would most definitely still be (almost) entirely centristic around mages, but it has the option to steer clear of said topics though! Noteworthy note: I don’t intend of making boss strategies anymore. Those were the most tedious things to write up, and I shall forever banish them from here. Begone!

But yes, the name. Almost 24/7, I am logged into ventrilo, wither or not I’m actually present. Out of the guilds I’ve been in as of late, I’ve always been an officer and had the right as an administrator on vent as well. And so- I’ve always rested comfortably in my self created room: The Arcanery.

The Arcanery is a place of mystique, with new discoveries and wonders being unveiled with every passing moment, and where questions are answered with questions and where mage nerfs don’t exist! it is a place where the limitations of a ventrilo channel become unclear, and as time progresses it makes a definition for itself! And yet- it is never defined. Never held back so it can fulfill some Webster’s “say-so” of what it should be. It is never still, never the same. It is The Arcanery, and it is all that ever has, and all that will ever be.

Oh, RP, you get me though the day.

Well, over the course of the next millennia, things ’round here will be shapeshifting- fuck shapeshifting, we don’t want any druid gimmicks in here-  RE-SPEC’ING and putting points into BIGGER and BETTER talents. And from what I can see, The Arcanery will have a much larger mana pool to draw it’s power from, so we won’t be going oom ANYTIME soon.

(Metaphor, anyone?)

It is also a noteworthy-note to mention that while I will strive to find good quotes to end posts with, I may not end with one every time, unfortunately since great ones don’t always come to mind, however again, I will always try to! However this is a page among posts, and it will get one (and rightly so).

Quote of the Day:

Scene:

Kael’Thas Sunstrider, who you may know from Tempest Keep, and Arthas, who you’d hopefully know since you do not lack the basic functions of a human being, are fighting in Icecrown. Illidian and Kael’Thas are battling the undead in hopes to kill the Lich King (who is not yet “one” with Arthas). This is because Kil’jaeden (last boss in Sunwell) seeks revenge for plotting against the Burning Legion, and aiding what would eventually result in the downfall of Archimonde. Note: Illidian answers to Kil’jaeden, and Kael’thas teamed with Illidian. Hence, they fight together. It’s also important to know that Kael’thas loved Jaina Proudmoore, the main topic of this quote, however Jaina was in love with Arthas.

“I took your woman,” he said, continueing to try to anger the mage, although he knew, and probably Kael knew, that Jaina had never belonged to the elf. “I held her in my arms at night. She tasted sweet when I kissed her, Kael. She–”

“Loathes you know,” Kael’thas replied. “You sicken and disgust her, Arthas. Anything she felt for you has since turned to hatred.”

Arthas’s chest contracted oddly. He realized he had not thought about how Jaina regarded him now. He had always done his best to thrust all thoughts of her away when they drifted into his mind. Was it true? Did Jaina really–
